FireWise ("we", "us") provides free financial calculators at this website. There are no accounts, no subscriptions and no paid features; the service is provided as is, free of charge.
Everything on FireWise — calculator results, labels, comparisons and commentary — is provided for general information and education only. It is not financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any financial product. Calculations are simplified estimates: tax tables, social-security rates, exchange rates and similar figures may be approximate, out of date or inapplicable to your situation. Always verify important figures with official sources or a qualified professional before acting on them.
Don't abuse the service: no attempts to breach security, scrape at disruptive volume, or use the service for unlawful purposes.
Reference data such as exchange rates is sourced from public providers (e.g. the European Central Bank) and passed on "as is"; publication delays, revisions and outages are outside our control. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may change or discontinue any part of it at any time.
The statistics published in our country data section come from the national and federal statistical offices named on each page — Eurostat, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the U.S. Federal Housing Finance Agency and the U.S. Treasury. Those figures are not ours, and each office's own reuse terms govern them. Credit the office, and check its policy before republishing the numbers themselves.
What is ours is the compilation: several upstream sources normalised into one schema, the JSON endpoints that serve it, and the writing on those pages. Reading the pages is free and always will be, and you may quote or cite an individual figure with credit to both the office and FireWise.
Systematic or bulk extraction, redistribution of the compiled series, and any commercial use of the data endpoints require a written licence from us. That includes automated harvesting, mirroring the series, and building a product or service on top of the endpoints. Write to info@firewisehq.com and we will tell you what is available.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on calculator results or data shown on the service, or for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (including for intent or gross negligence).
We may update the service and these terms; material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer resident in the EU or EEA, you additionally keep the mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings before the courts of that country. For out-of-court resolution of a dispute, you can contact the consumer alternative-dispute-resolution (ADR) body competent in your country of residence.
